Paying homage to the origin of South African Brandy. From the Dutch word “brandewjin” – burnt or distilled wine. South Africa’s first barrel of brandy ever was distilled aboard the Dutch ship, De Pijl, anchored in Cape Town’s Table Bay Harbour in 1672.

Tasting Notes
A Cape brandy, handcrafted from the very best Chenin blanc, matured in oak casks for a minimum of 10 years. Luminous amber, glints of gold with seductive fine floral notes, stone fruit and marmalade on the nose. A full palate, round with unfolding layers of delicate sundried peach, vanilla, creamy chocolate and roasted nuts. Mellow, smooth with a toffee and spice underbelly. Long, elegant and harmonious.
