John Lennon’s favourite drink, was a frothy concoction that was also favoured by singer-songwriter Harry Nilsson who, on a March night in 1974 at the Troubadour club in Los Angeles, amid Lennon’s “Lost Weekend”, introduced him to the Brandy Alexander. He later said the drinks tasted like milkshakes.
