Try your hand at recreating the classic 1920s cocktail, the Sidecar.
- Put two coupe glasses in the fridge to chill.
- Ingredients:
- 50ml De Kaapse Brandewijn Kompanjie.
- 25ml Cointreau.
- 25ml freshly squeezed lemon juice.
- Garnish: orange twist.
- A handful of ice.
- Coat the rim of the coupe glass with sugar.
- Add the Brandewijn, Cointreau, lemon juice and ice to a shaker.
- Shake until well chilled.
- Strain into the prepared glasses.
- Garnish with an orange twist.
